Introduced in 2006 and still supported by Cisco (until ) this firewall is widely in use by many businesses and organizations. While the wheel and the chair are ancient ideas, their daily presence is proof of their usefulness and such is the case with the Cisco ASA 5505. As I write these lines in March of 2021, I’m reminded of what is old isn’t always necessarily outdated.
